Sustainable Urbanism LecturesLecture series dealing with issues related to understanding and designing sustainable urban environments. Theoretical introduction to place-based landscape, architectural and urban design, sustainable transportation, energy efficiency & energy production, biodiversity in cities, rain and wastewaters management & recycling, urban agriculture, solid (organic and not-organic) waste management & recycling, and urban heat island reduction design. Workshops & CharrettesWeek-long intensive workshops and charrettes on a specific sustainable urban design topics consisting of lectures, design guidance, and assistance by workshop leaders.
