Our Mission
Have you ever wondered what would a zero-carbon, carbon-neutral or low-carbon city look like?
Or how should we design future suburbs of Sydney in light of Climate Change? White Bay Eco-city 2050
is a collaboration of 20 senior design students from the University of Sydney, directed
by Dr. Rafael Pizarro, faculty lecturer in Urban Design and Planning. The project is a
transformation of 80 ha of industrial land along Sydney Harbour into a premiere Eco-city
for 15,000 people (6,800 resisents and 8,200 daily visitors) within a comercially viable
framework.
